OA are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Test Technician to join a well-established client based in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an electrical, electronics, diagnostics or repair background who enjoys fault-finding, hands-on technical work and working within a fast-paced environment focused on continuous improvement.

Duties of a Test Technician:

  • Test and diagnose customer returned equipment using automated and manual test systems
  • Accurately identify and confirm reported faults
  • Record repair and diagnostic information accurately within internal systems
  • Disassemble, reassemble, clean and prepare returned products
  • Configure and re-configure hardware for manual testing where required
  • Carry out visual inspections in line with quality standards and inspection criteria
  • Support reduction of No Fault Found outcomes through accurate diagnostics
  • Highlight technical, quality or process concerns to Engineering
