Duties of a Branch Assistant
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse and trade counter
- Processing customer orders, quotations, and invoices accurately
- Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and in person
- Providing excellent customer service at the trade counter
- Handling product returns and ensuring all systems and records are updated correctly
- Assisting with general warehouse duties including stock handling and organisation
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all tasks
What we would like from you
- Experience working within a trade counter environment (ideally electrical wholesale or security distribution)
- Previous warehouse experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic administration skills
- Full UK driving licence (required for occasional delivery cover)
