We are currently recruiting for a reliable and adaptable 3.5T Van Driver to support a busy and growing wedding and event hire business. This is a varied role supporting the delivery and collection of event equipment across multiple locations. You’ll be working as part of a two-person team alongside a Driver’s Mate, ensuring all items are delivered safely, professionally and on time. Please note – this is not a fixed-shift role and flexibility is essential due to the nature of the events industry, including early starts, later finishes and weekend working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving a 3.5T vehicle to event locations
  • Loading and unloading event equipment in teams of two
  • Delivering and collecting chairs, tables and event hire products
  • Ensuring safe handling and transport of equipment
  • Providing excellent customer service onsite
  • Working flexibly around changing delivery schedules and event requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (3.5T)
  • Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends
  • Reliable and professional attitude
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Previous delivery or event experience beneficial but not essential
