We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable class 2 Driver, who needs to be fully flexible. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent driving skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to support the wider operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving to deliver and collect event furniture and equipment.
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Working alongside a Driver's Mate to complete deliveries and collections.
- Assisting with the setup and breakdown of event furniture when required.
- Conducting vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations.
- Providing excellent customer service at client sites.
- Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records.
Essential Requirements:
- 2 years previous experience driving class 2 or 7.5 tonne vehicles is essential.
- Valid UK Category C1 or C2 Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- A proven track record of safe and professional driving.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including early starts and late finishes when required.
- Comfortable undertaking manual handling duties and occasional heavy lifting, with support from a Driver's Mate.
- Good communication skills and a professional manner.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
