About our client:
Our client is a respected membership association offering a critical part-time opportunity within their finance function. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role plays a key part in maintaining smooth financial operations. The position offers a blend of home and office-based working, with flexibility outside of peak financial periods.

Responsibilities:
- Produce monthly management accounts and quarterly VAT returns
- Prepare documentation for the annual audit
- Maintain both sales and purchase ledgers
- Input sales invoices, manage credit control, and set up customer accounts
- Process purchase invoices, BACs runs, direct debits, and supplier accounts
- Weekly reconciliation of financial statements and batch payments
- Support the payroll process
- Develop and implement finance policies and procedures with the Director of Operations
- Assist with additional finance duties as required

- Proven experience in a finance or accounting role
- Confident using accounting software and Excel
