Benefits: Join a successful and growing family-run manufacturing business Opportunity to develop a long-term career within Supply Chain and Logistics Supportive working environment with training and development opportunities Varied role covering procurement, purchasing, logistics and supply chain activities Opportunity to work with international suppliers and customers Duties of a Supply Chain Administrator: Maintain accurate purchase orders, sales orders and supply chain records Monitor purchase orders, supplier lead times, ready dates and expected delivery dates Liaise with suppliers to obtain updates, chase outstanding orders and resolve any issues Support procurement activities, including raising and updating purchase orders Check supplier paperwork against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies Monitor stock levels against customer orders to help ensure products are available when required Arrange and book courier collections and coordinate deliveries with couriers and freight forwarders Ensure correct purchase order, shipment and delivery references are provided to couriers and suppliers Prepare and maintain logistics, import and customs documentation Keep internal systems and relevant departments updated with supplier, purchasing and delivery information Maintain daily reports and provide accurate information to support manufacturing and purchasing requirements Work closely with suppliers, manufacturing, logistics and other internal departments to ensure orders progress smoothly Proactively identify and resolve supply chain or delivery issues before they impact customer orders Provide clear and professional communication to suppliers and other stakeholders What we would like from you: Previous experience within purchasing, procurement, supply chain, logistics or order administration Experience with purchase orders, supplier communication and lead times Previous experience booking or coordinating couriers, collections or deliveries Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and comfortable learning new systems Experience using Sage or another business operating/ERP system would be advantageous Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks Clear and professional communication skills Proactive and motivated approach with a willingness to take ownership and solve problems Reliable, committed and keen to learn and develop within the business A positive, friendly attitude and the ability to work well as part of a close-knit team If you are interested in this Supply Chain Administrator role, please apply below with your most recent CV.
