OA are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Electronics Repair Engineer to join a well-established client based in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electronics background who enjoys fault-finding, diagnostics and component-level repair. You’ll be joining a business that supports globally recognised brands across the full product lifecycle, from testing and configuration through to repair and refurbishment.

Duties of a Electronics Repair Engineer:
- Test, diagnose and repair electronic products to component level
- Use automated and manual test equipment to identify faults
- Carry out fault-finding with and without schematics or circuit diagrams
- Complete repairs to the required quality and performance standards
- Accurately document repairs and diagnostics within internal systems
- Disassemble, reassemble and prepare returned units for testing and repair
- Configure hardware for manual testing where required
- Support continuous improvement and reduction in turnaround times
- Highlight technical, quality or process issues to Engineering and Management teams
- Carry out maintenance and calibration checks on test systems
- Provide technical support and cross-training to colleagues when required
What we would like from you:
- Previous experience within an electronics repair or test environment
- Qualification in Electronics Engineering (ONC/HNC/HND or equivalent)
- Strong electronics knowledge and fault-finding ability
- Experience diagnosing faults down to component level
- Ability to use oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers and multi-meters
- Good understanding of electronic testing procedures
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently and within a fast-paced environment
