Logistics Team Leader OA are recruiting for a Logistics Team Leader to join our client’s highly successful and growing team. Are you an experienced logistics professional ready to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced warehouse environment? A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a well-established and growing company looking for a skilled Material Logistics Team Leader to take ownership of dispatch, inventory, and goods-in operations. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone passionate about operational excellence, continuous improvement, and team development. Location: Welham Green Hours: Monday – Friday. 8am-5pm. Salary: £30,000-£33,000 Logistics Team Leader Benefits Onsite parking Private healthcare Medical insurance Logistics Team Leader Key Responsibilities Lead and motivate a team of Material Controllers in goods-in, dispatch, and inventory functions Oversee picking, packing, and final inspection operations, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency Drive adherence to KPI targets including On-Time Delivery, Quality, and Job Efficiency Ensure accurate and timely cycle counts (A/B/C classifications) and inventory reconciliation Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, applying root cause analysis and CAPA techniques Champion lean methodologies (5S, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, etc.) across warehouse functions` Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods regulations and internal quality systems Liaise cross-functionally with manufacturing, planning, and sales to support production and shipping timelines Maintain ERP system (e.g. Epicor) accuracy for all stock movements and non-conforming goods Logistics Team Leader Skills and Experience Proven leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics environment Strong understanding of dispatch, inventory management, and cycle counting processes Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor or similar) Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Act compliance Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Can-do attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement Forklift licenses (Reach & Counterbalance) Training in Lean Management / Six Sigma Experience using shipping software (e.g., UPS systems) Understanding of manufacturing environments and quality inspection processes If the role is of interest and your skills align, please apply online with your CV.
