This is a Senior Project Manager role focused on developing and delivering international and domestic school projects. The role combines project management, commercial analysis, financial modelling, market research and stakeholder management. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and international investment partners to assess opportunities, manage projects and ensure they are delivered successfully while aligning with the school’s values and objectives. Undertake rigorous analysis of proposed international school site locations and develop detailed school infrastructure development plans with partners. Assist in developing project plans, defining timescales, milestones and deliverables, working closely with investor partners and monitoring and reporting on progress. Support the Director of Domestic and International Partnerships with the legal and commercial aspects of international projects, including reviewing draft agreements, proofreading and preparing documents for third parties. Assist with the preparation of budgetary information and financial modelling alongside the Director of Domestic and International Partnerships. Contribute to ongoing market research, analysis and risk management, identifying and communicating key trends to senior leadership and relevant governance committees. Support the development of domestic projects. Contribute to the development of new adjacent commercial opportunities. Build and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders while protecting the school’s interests and presenting a positive image at all times. Work closely with the Director of Domestic and International Partnerships and liaise with governors, members of the Executive Leadership Team and other senior staff. Senior Project Manager Skills & Experience A degree-level education. A qualification in project management, business or a related discipline. Experience of project management within a commercial or professional environment. Proven experience of communicating effectively with stakeholders at a variety of levels. The ability to manage project budgets and resources effectively. Experience of working with budgets and financial information. Experience of working with internal colleagues at all levels and external stakeholders in an advisory and influencing capacity. Experience of engaging and managing third-party contractors as required. The ability to work across cross-functional and multidisciplinary projects or transactions. Experience of working in international markets. Strong project management foundations, with hands-on experience of infrastructure development. An understanding of legal agreements is desirable but not essential. An understanding of the UK independent and international education landscape would be advantageous but is not essential. A strong influencer who operates with tact and diplomacy. Highly organised, task-oriented and able to coordinate multiple activities concurrently. Self-motivated and driven to deliver high-quality work within deadlines, using your own initiative. Comfortable working globally with diverse stakeholder groups and demonstrating a high degree of cultural intelligence. Commercially astute, with strong financial acumen and the ability to make data-driven decisions. A collaborative team player who builds productive and effective relationships.
