We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised Production Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced production environment in Kettering on an initial six-month temporary contract. This is a varied role where you’ll provide essential administrative support to the Production team and Senior Leadership Team, helping to keep processes, reporting and documentation running smoothly. The role is predominantly office-based, although you may occasionally need to go into the production environment to gather information or speak with colleagues. You won’t be carrying out production work, but you will need to be comfortable working within a busy and sometimes noisy manufacturing environment.

Duties of a Production Administrator:
- Providing general administrative support to the Production team
- Supporting Senior Leadership Team members with administration and coordination
- Preparing and generating various production reports
- Supporting with the administration and creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Creating and maintaining Job Breakdown Sheets
- Implementing and improving administrative processes and procedures
- Gathering information from colleagues within the production environment
- Ensuring documentation and records are accurate and kept up to date
- Providing additional administrative support as required
What we would like from you:
- Previous administration experience
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Comfortable working at pace and managing multiple priorities
- Able to use your own initiative and work independently
- Confident communicating with colleagues at different levels
- Happy working within a busy and sometimes noisy production environment
- SAP experience would be advantageous but isn’t essential
- Available to commit to an initial six-month temporary assignment
