Osborne Appointments are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Operator to join our client based in Hitchin on a temporary to permanent basis.

This is a great chance for a long-term opportunity with a reputable company!

  • Working Hours of a Machine Operator: Monday to Thursday 6am - 3pm and Friday 6am - 11am
  • Manufacturing Operative

Main Duties

  • Follow work instructions and company procedures.
  • Support the production team in achieving daily production targets.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment at all times.
  • Operate and work with metal manufacturing products and materials.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and report any issues promptly.
  • Assist with general production and machine operation tasks as required.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience working in a similar machine operative role is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including manual handling duties.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions effectively.
  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
