Our client is a well-established manufacturer supplying specialist products to customers across the UK and internationally. They are looking to recruit a Customer Service Administrator to join their friendly Customer Care team based in Hitchin. Working closely with the Account Managers and wider team, you'll provide excellent customer service while supporting the administration of quotations, orders and after-sales enquiries. This is a varied office-based role suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, has exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in delivering a high standard of customer service.

  • Office based role in Hitchin
  • Monday to Thursday, 9:00am - 4:45pm (45-minute lunch), Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm (30-minute lunch)
  • Salary of £27,000 per annum
  • 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
  • WPA Healthcare following successful completion of probation
  • Full training provided

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email
  • Produce accurate quotations and process customer orders
  • Support Account Managers with day-to-day administration
  • Manage after-sales enquiries including repairs, replacements and returns
  • Update and maintain accurate customer records using Salesforce
  • Follow established processes to ensure work is completed accurately from start to finish
  • Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure orders progress smoothly
  • Maintain accurate documentation and administrative records
  • Attend team meetings and support the wider Customer Care function
  • Provide general administrative support as required

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within customer service, sales administration or office administration
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow established processes accurately
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
  • Confident communicating with customers and colleagues over the phone and via email
  • Positive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn and develop
  • Ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Experience using Salesforce would be advantageous but is not essential
