About the Role:
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to provide support to a local charity, assisting the CEO and Chair, while supporting Directors and multiple Boards and sub-committees. This is a varied role, offering the chance to work across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the CEO, Chair, Directors, and Trustees
- Act as first point of contact for Board Members, managing communications and queries
- Organise and coordinate Board and Committee meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions
- Support governance tasks, including legal submissions and compliance requirements
- Lead or assist with projects and internal administrative improvements
- Coordinate communications from the CEO's office with Marketing & Communications
- Represent the organisation externally as required
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in PA/EA role or Senior Administrative position
- Highly organised with strong prioritisation and project management skills
- Discreet, diplomatic, and able to handle confidential information
- Advanced IT skills, including MS Office and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proactive, forward-planning, and able to take initiative
Desirable:
- Experience in healthcare or not-for-profit sectors
- Committee secretary experience
