Property Paralegal
OA are recruiting for a Property Paralegal to join our client’s busy and established conveyancing team in Enfield.
The Property Paralegal will provide support to conveyancing solicitors, assisting with the progression of property files and ensuring clients receive a high standard of service throughout the conveyancing process.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive legal professional with previous conveyancing experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive environment.

- Property Paralegal Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the opening, management and closing of conveyancing files.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete and appropriately filed.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other third parties.
- Provide regular updates to clients and respond to queries professionally.
- Prepare legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds and completion statements, under the supervision of a conveyancing solicitor.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of property searches.
- Raise enquiries and review responses as part of the conveyancing process.
- Manage post-completion processes, including Land Registry registrations and Stamp Duty submissions.
- Ensure post-completion documentation is accurate and submitted within required timeframes.
- Track key dates and deadlines to ensure the smooth progression of files.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the case management system.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering procedures and client identity verification.
- Property Paralegal and Experience
- Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal support role.
- Knowledge of residential or commercial conveyancing processes.
- Experience managing post-completion registrations and documentation, including
HM Land Registry applications and Stamp Duty submissions.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and courteous manner.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using legal case management systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures relating to property transactions.
