Role: Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Field-based – various sites (paid door to door)
Hours: 40 hours per week (8.30am – 5.00pm)
Salary: £42,500 basic (£20–£21 per hour) + paid travel time + overtime rates
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client’s successful and growing team.

We’re working with a well-established, privately owned business that’s been operating successfully for over 35 years. Known for their supportive culture and long-standing staff, they’ve built an enviable reputation within the refrigeration and HVAC industries. With over 80 engineers on their team and some brilliant contracts on their books, they’re now looking to strengthen their service division with an experienced A/C Engineer.

Duties of an Air Conditioning Engineer:
- Service, maintenance and fault finding on air conditioning systems, AHUs, fans and plantroom equipment
- Occasional minor installations and small chiller system work (preferred but not essential)
- Multi-skilling tasks where applicable
- Risk and contingency management during all works
- Asset collection and on-site database updates
- Technical support to the parts and stores facility
- Regular communication with customers and management to maintain excellent service standards
- Participation in the on-call rota as required
What we would like from you:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in air conditioning and refrigeration service contracts
- NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning (Level 2 may be considered)
- A sound understanding of parts ordering and stores processes
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Well-organised, reliable and capable of managing time effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
