The role :
To lead a high-performing accounts team responsible for producing accurate, timely, and compliant service charge accounts and client reporting. This is a pivotal role which will be combining technical service charge accounting expertise with transformational leadership driving process improvement, software innovation, and the integration of emerging technologies, including AI and automation, to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client value.
Duties :
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts team
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee team structure and recruitment to ensure a high-performing, scalable finance function.
- Ensure all service charge accounts are accurate, timely, and fully compliant with RICS, ARMA, and statutory standards.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and audit of service charge accounts.
- Implement clear timelines, controls, and quality assurance procedures.
- Lead the evaluation, testing, and adoption of new accounting and property management systems.
- Drive migration projects from legacy software to an AI first platforms.
