The role: This role will be working across a portfolio of commercial assets such as office space and retail units as well as some residential units. This is a fast‐paced role within a busy team of Client Accountants.
Duties:
- Client reporting including standard reports as well as bespoke reporting for clients on specific assets, ensuring all reporting targets are met.
- Reconciliation of service‐charge income and expenditure.
- Handling client queries in a professional and efficient manner, providing further assistance where necessary.
- Liaising with internal real‐estate teams including surveyors and asset managers to ensure all client demands are serviced.
- Management of client and property cash‐flow and funding.
- Liaise with asset managers and service‐charge accountants to ensure all annual property service‐charge reviews are completed.
- Attend client and internal meetings as required.
- Maintain property & leases data on a financial database.
- Assist with ad‐hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a similar client accounting role highly desirable.
- Previous use of a property management system such as Yardi, MRI or Qube.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment ensuring strict deadlines are met.
