The role: This role will be working across a portfolio of commercial assets such as office space and retail units as well as some residential units. This is a fast‑paced role within a busy team of Client Accountants.

Duties:

  • Client reporting including standard reports as well as bespoke reporting for clients on specific assets, ensuring all reporting targets are met.
  • Reconciliation of service‑charge income and expenditure.
  • Handling client queries in a professional and efficient manner, providing further assistance where necessary.
  • Liaising with internal real‑estate teams including surveyors and asset managers to ensure all client demands are serviced.
  • Management of client and property cash‑flow and funding.
  • Liaise with asset managers and service‑charge accountants to ensure all annual property service‑charge reviews are completed.
  • Attend client and internal meetings as required.
  • Maintain property & leases data on a financial database.
  • Assist with ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a similar client accounting role highly desirable.
  • Previous use of a property management system such as Yardi, MRI or Qube.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment ensuring strict deadlines are met.
