About this role: This role is the Osbit glue that holds our project teams together. A Project Support colleague sits at the heart of each live project, providing live insights and a valuable helping hand to drive progress. Every day is different in Project Support. On Monday you might be purchasing engineering components, and on Tuesday you may be organising a last minute shipment to the other side of the world. A love of fast-paced work and embracing of the unknown are important in this role, which offers significant opportunities to take ownership and make a real difference to a project’s outcome. Effective communication is also key, as you interface with Osbit’s engineering team, business functions, and our suppliers.

Your responsibilities:

  • Procures and expedites engineering components, from quote stage through to delivery.
  • Handles shipping and customs clearance requirements.
  • Organises client Technical Queries and manages deadlines.
  • Collates accurate financial and resource information for team colleagues.
  • Produces documentation packs.
  • Provides administrative support to team colleagues.
  • Visits to work sites as required.

About you:

  • First rate communicator.
  • Self-motivated and persistent in getting from A to B.
  • Diligent in attention to detail.
  • Adaptable when unexpected challenges crop up.
  • A positive attitude.

Your experience: Experience in a similar role is desirable. However, if you feel you have transferable experience that would suit this role, then we’d also love to hear from you.

Further information: A valid driving licence is required. Successful applicants will be based at our Edinburgh office, working on site as required.
