About the team: OSB Group is currently on a Transformation journey and at the heart of this, is the implementation of the OSB Group's Learning & Skill Strategy. OSB Group has embarked on significant technology Transformation programme, which gives the organisation an exciting opportunity to transform its people eco-system. Transformation will deliver significant automation opportunities and seamless end to end customer and colleague experiences. The programme is delivering at pace, using agile practices giving the entire organisation an opportunity to optimise their ways of working and approach to their own function's skills to adapt for a modernised organisation. OSB Group has entered a maturing stage in its corporate lifecycle making it a prime moment to evolve its approach to the people and skills.

As Talent & Leadership Learning Product Owner, you will be responsible for creating and delivering learning journeys and content to create an industry leading line management and leadership culture within OSB. You will also be responsible for delivering development interventions to drive internal talent progression, particularly for diverse groups and future leaders.

Please note, this role can be based in either the Wolverhampton or Chatham office and has the benefit of operating within our hybrid-working policy of three days a week in the office and two days from home.

What you will be doing: As Talent & Leadership Learning Product Owner, you will enable OSB to create an environment where every colleague is receiving, from their line manager, the coaching, feedback and support they need to thrive at OSB. You will leverage industry best practice to execute modern learning practices and content in OSB Group. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Defining, creating and communicating learning pathways to increase capability of line managers and leaders in OSB
  • Collaborating with internal and external SMEs, business functions and the People Transformation team to understand the key capability gaps today and in the future
  • Taking a 'systems thinking' approach designing learning journeys with consideration of all touch points during the colleagues end to end experience
  • Creating, prioritising and maintaining a learning backlog
  • Curating learning pathways using a blended channel approach
  • Leading the Talent & Leadership Learning team and cross functional squads using agile learning practices, providing management, leadership and coaching to nurture a high performing environment
