As a UX Writer you will join the newly formed Design and Research team within our Transformation function. As an individual contributor you will be comfortable working in an agile environment, supporting the Senior Experience Designer(s) to deliver exceptional digital end-to-end customer and colleague experiences to transform user journeys. Please note, this role can be based in either the Wolverhampton or Chatham office and has the benefit of operating within our hybrid-working policy of three days a week in the office and two days from home. This role will require some travel between our UK offices.
What you will be doing:
- Craft clear, engaging, and customer-focused copy that helps users navigate across our Digital Transformation Savings and Lending platforms - from onboarding flows and dashboards to help content and transactional communications.
- Own and craft copy for the Transformation servicing experience on savings and lending across digital touchpoints on web and mobile, ensuring consistency, clarity, accessibility, and alignment with brand guidelines throughout the user journey.
- Own and develop a Transformation service content strategy for savings and lending in collaboration with designers, product owners, developers and marketing copywriters to create a cohesive content strategy that aligns with our product’s goals and brand voice.
- Translate complex information into simple, human language that builds trust and drives action.
- Build and maintain relationships with Design, Marketing and Product teams to co-create intuitive and user-centred journeys.
- Contribute to the development of naming conventions, microcopy standards, and style guides as part of the design system.

- Strong experience of technical writing for digital products in financial services, fintech, or highly regulated industries that drives user action with accessibility in mind.
- A track record crafting UX copy that not only enhances digital experiences across web and mobile platforms but is also compliant.
- Detailed knowledge of best practice techniques and principles regarding UX copywriting in relation to content design, the importance of plain language and accessibility in content design.
- Experience using design systems and content tooling including Jira, Confluence and Figma.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into simple, accessible, and human language across a variety of audiences.
- Collaborative and proactive, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and maintaining strong self-organisation.
- Professional UX or technical writing or content design diploma/certificate or equivalent is essential.
