What you will be doing
As Underwriting Admin Assistant, you will have the opportunity to provide a high level of support to the underwriting team; ensuring that daily activities are processed and administered correctly. No two days are the same in this role, with a varied and interesting workload you will gain exposure to the mortgage lifecycle whilst working with a supportive and well-established team.
- Aid in the administration of a busy underwriting department and assist the Underwriters in providing an excellent service to Mortgage Brokers.
- Typing, collating and sending mortgage offers to customers and solicitors.
- Performing practical administrative tasks, including scanning, storing and sending documents, checking that documents are allocated correctly, data entry and maintaining spreadsheets, and phone calls with solicitors and brokers according to business needs.
- Provide a consistently high quality of customer service to both external and internal customers whilst understanding and adhering to the organisation\’s data governance policies.
