If you are interested in creating a new function within a busy IT department that is rising to meet the needs of an evolving post-merger environment then this could be the right role for you. The Solutions Architect is a vital role in the Group, and is responsible for the overall design, to align business goals and needs with IT services, products, software, and infrastructure. Working alone, across internal teams, or alongside external professional services, the job requires dedication to embracing new technologies and solutions, providing the requirements, documentation, configurations for implementation and future support.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create an overall technical vision for a specific solution to a business problem. You will design, describe, and manage the solution. In many ways, you will build the bridge between a business problem and the technology solution and outlines each of the phases and requirements required to make the solution work. To be successful in this role you will need a specific skillset within the Application domain. Practicing an Application design philosophy focused on performance, resilience, security, and scalability the Solution Architect will be entrusted to provide strategic solutions based on industry best-practice principals that ensure strong strategic alignment. To leverage and use technology solutions to enable the organisation\’s future-state business capabilities that, in turn, drive the organisations targeted outcomes. They facilitate and orchestrate the delivery of targeted business outcomes.
