The Enabling Functions team sits within Technology and operates as a key value stream at the heart of delivering OSB's strategic priorities. Comprising a close-knit team of Project Managers, the function primarily leads and supports Technology-driven change, while also delivering cross-functional initiatives across Operations, Finance, HR, Credit and regulatory programmes. Working in close collaboration with Business Analysts, Engineering, Testing, PMO, business stakeholders, second line risk teams (2LoD) and third-party suppliers, the team plays a central role in connecting business and technology. All projects are aligned to OSB's strategic pillars, directly contributing to organisational success and reflecting a strong commitment to serving customers and the wider community. What you will be doing:

  • As Project Manager (Enabling Functions) you will have the opportunity to support the Enabling Functions value stream, you will be responsible for managing complex change projects considering the customer and communities to provide excellent outcomes.
  • This is a highly visible role, requiring regular interaction with senior stakeholders and collaboration with teams across the UK and India.
  • You will therefore need to be flexible within your approach and have the ability to provide sound direction, governance and oversight to your team and stakeholders within a fast paced environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver end-to-end projects to agreed timelines, scope and budget, ensuring successful implementation and measurable outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain robust project plans, managing resources, RAIDD, costs and documentation.
  • Establish and embed effective project governance, frameworks and ways of working.
  • Lead workshops and collaborate with technical teams to define requirements and deliver system and process improvements.
  • Manage workstream performance, risks and issues, taking corrective action and ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Build strong senior stakeholder relationships, providing clear reporting and influencing decision-making to align with business goals.

  • Experience delivering or supporting change projects within financial services or a similarly regulated field.
  • Experience working as a Project Manager, delivering projects ideally using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the full project lifecycle and delivery approaches.
  • Detailed knowledge of project governance.
  • Experience producing and managing key project documentation and reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging at a senior level.
  • Experience in all aspects of RAIDD management is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Confluence, JIRA and PlanView would be an advantage.
