As the Transformation Programme continues to prepare OSB Group for the future, we are building our capabilities in house and looking for an experienced Product Owner - Mobile to join the domains team. This is a brand new role, reporting into the Lead Domains Product Owner and overseeing a feature team geographically spread across the UK and India, focusing on building, delivering and enhancing the Savings app for the Group. The role has the flexibility to be based from Wolverhampton or Chatham and will require regular travel to London.
What you will be doing:
- As Product Owner Mobile, you will be responsible for mobile product backlogs from shaping to live implementation aligned to the overall product strategy.
- Leading from the front, you will drive business growth by understanding customer and business needs and translating them into actionable product requirements.
- With a proven background in application design within Financial Services, you will align the mobile product roadmap with overall business goals and customer needs, articulating the value proposition to stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining the Mobile product vision - prioritising and ensuring clear communication of requirements to deliver product features using EPICS and user stories.
- Working closely with design teams to ensure mobile interfaces are intuitive, accessible, and consistent with platform conventions, while delivering a high-quality user experience.
- Clearly defining and prioritising user stories, features, and technical enablers in collaboration with business stakeholders, engineering, and design teams to maximise product value.
- Partnering with security and legal teams to ensure mobile app security meets data privacy requirements, secure authentication standards, and is compliant with relevant regulations (e.g. PSD2, GDPR).
- Advocating for market leading mobile functionality, ensuring features are optimised for mobile platforms, including considerations around performance, device compatibility, mobile-specific interactions and offline functionality.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of target users, incorporating their feedback into the product lifecycle to ensure the app meets their evolving needs through monitoring market trends, user behaviour, and OS updates.

- Understanding, knowledge and experience of applying required layers of security to mobile applications in line with data privacy requirements and relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
