About the team
As Portfolio Credit Risk Manager, you will join the Risk function at OSB Group, reporting to the Senior Credit Risk Manager. This role involves creating and updating credit risk reports, conducting portfolio deep dives, segmentation reviews, and strategy assessments. You will perform regular analyses to support decision-making and policy development across Underwriting, Collections, and Recoveries teams. The role includes line management of at least one Credit Risk Analyst.
The position is based in Wolverhampton with a hybrid working policy; flexibility can be discussed.

What you will be doing
The Portfolio Credit Risk Manager will oversee end-to-end credit risk data processes and analyses, requiring strong SAS and SQL skills. Responsibilities include:
- Providing MI updates to Senior Management and Credit Risk Committee
- Running critical data processes ensuring governance compliance
- Leading Credit Risk Analytical projects across all products and brands
- Managing affordability underwriting tools and valuation procedures
- Handling Regulatory Data requests
- Supporting Risk Appetite settings and Early Warning Indicators
- Identifying areas for analytical deep dives and insights
This role offers exciting opportunities, including involvement in a transformation project to establish a new operating platform, with growth prospects aligned with the company\’s expansion.
