About the team
Working within the Technology Business Management team, IT Commercial and Supplier Relationship Management support IT colleagues with their procurement and subsequent supplier management activities. The team works closely with IT Risk, Reporting, Group Vendor Management, and Finance to provide contractual, governance, and commercial cover for the Bank. In addition, the team works with a dynamic group of stakeholders to ensure IT aligns with OSB’s Corporate objectives.
About Us
In this role, you will support and enhance relationships and governance with 3rd party suppliers across all IT goods and services. You will be active as a supplier relationship manager working within a small team, using strong commercial acumen and robust stakeholder engagement skills. You will work with other stakeholders across the group to create and run proportionate engagement activity that complies with the regulators and subsequently OSB Policies, ensuring relevant metrics and controls are in place to demonstrate the effectiveness of the goods and services we receive.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Bringing best practice to manage suppliers within IT to deliver high-quality engagement with suppliers, being responsive to internal demands and open to the challenges articulated by the supplier.
- Ensuring appropriate measurement and reporting on supplier performance for BAU and change against contractual obligations in terms of SLAs and delivery milestones.
- Holding the suppliers to account and ensuring they prepare and provide regular status and governance reports against key metrics. In some instances, these metrics will need to be developed.
- Chairing a range of supplier meetings for senior stakeholders, ensuring an appropriate agenda, papers from both parties, and appropriate minutes.
- Demonstrating management of supplier performance in line with statutory responsibility.
- Working collaboratively with the IT subject matter experts to ensure the right level of involvement from them in the supplier interactions.
- Helping colleagues understand supplier obligations and what their expectations should be while allowing suppliers an opportunity to present potential changes that may be of advantage to the company.
- Where possible, ensuring value add from supplier.
What you will be doing
We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £48,000 - £56,500 and a competitive benefits package including:
