Customer Service Assistant – OSB Group

What you will be doing
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will deliver a consistently high standard of customer service while completing banking transactions in the Hempstead Branch.
- Building rapport face-to-face with customers in a busy branch environment
- Accurately processing transactions and amendments on various types of savings accounts, such as:
- Deposits and withdrawals
- Faster payments / CHAPS
- Registering bereavements / Power of Attorneys
- Handling large sums of cash
- Opening new savings accounts
- Carrying out daily banking within the branch
- Overseeing G4S cash collections and deliveries
- Identifying and supporting vulnerable customers
- Supporting customers wishing to provide feedback or raise a complaint
Please note this is a fixed-term contract for a period of 12 months.
The hours of work will be 35 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 9 am‑5 pm, plus a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month 9 am‑12:30 pm. Time back in lieu will be given for Saturdays worked.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary dependent on experience, starting from £23,000. Benefits include:
