The office BDM team work alongside the field BDM's to support our brokers via multiple media outlets (Telephone/ Email/ Webex). Supporting the overall group lending target, the OBDM's are tasked with driving business into the pipeline by supporting existing cases as well as prospecting for new and enhancing broker relations.
What you will be doing:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the office-based BDM sales team, managing the performance of the team against the sales targets attributed to the function. Working closely to manage the OBDMs across Rely, KRFI and Precise Mortgages brands, you will develop and nurture talent whilst driving performance through interpretation of sales data and reviewing pipelines. You will adopt a collaborative approach with key stakeholders across the business to ensure the bank's new business objectives are fully met. Please note - The role will involve remote management of Office BDM's and therefore, some travel between locations and overnight stays will be necessary.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the daily management of the Rely, KRFI and Precise Mortgage Office BDMs and the management of role-specific KPI's and the team's performance against them.
- Driving teams' performance through strong decision making and operational management to ensure KPI's are hit and the team is engaged.
- Making strong analytical decisions using lateral thinking to maximise all opportunities that present themselves through forecasting, pipeline management and continuous performance monitoring of the OBDM's.
- Responsible for the management and ongoing review of the Office BDMs business plans and focus accounts, holding regular reviews with supporting data to optimise the performance of the team.
- Identifying and developing One Savings Bank business lending opportunities from all business channels (Networks, Clubs, Packagers & Firms) whilst working in conjunction with the Corporate Account Team.
- To act as the first level escalation point for accounts looked after by your team and resolving complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist.
