As Senior Solution Engineer with an industry focus, you are osapiens’ technical voice for one vertical – CPG & Retail, Discrete Manufacturing & Automotive, or Process Manufacturing, Healthcare & Utilities. You sit shoulder-to-shoulder with our Account Executives in front of Heads of Sustainability, Procurement leaders, Supply Chain Leaders and IT – translating intricate compliance and efficiency requirements into a clear vision of how the osapiens HUB will deliver value for a company like theirs, in their industry. You walk in already knowing the regulatory pressures, supply chain shape, ERP landscape and peer benchmarks of your industry. You own the full breadth of the osapiens HUB for that vertical, and carry industry intelligence back into Product so the roadmap stays sharp where it counts.
Your Responsibilities
- Be the Solution Engineering owner of your assigned industry’s enterprise opportunities at osapiens. Accountable from tailoring platform deep dive until the prospect is convinced and has decided in favour of osapiens.
- You translate companies challenges with regards to supply chain resilience, reporting, carbon management, product compliance, asset operations, and track and trace into concrete solution scope.
- Design and deliver vertical-tailored demonstrations of the osapiens HUB – built on realistic industry scenarios, terminology and KPIs, not generic showcases.
- Connect to Solution-Suite SEs for deep specialist support.
- Own end-to-end proofs-of-concept anchored in your industry’s value drivers.
- Confidently navigate customer integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems that matter in your vertical.
- Be the trusted owner of functional RFPs, RFIs, and IT-Integration topics.
- Own the competitive picture in your industry, and curate the reference base that closes deals in the vertical.
- Represent osapiens at industry events, customer advisory boards and analyst briefings for your vertical.
- Partner closely with Account Executives on deal strategy, multi-threading and stakeholder mapping; coach AEs on technical and value proposition talk-tracks.
- Feed structured industry insights back to Product – what we win with and why we lose, which competitors outposition us and how, what we need next on the roadmap to lead the vertical.
- Mentor more junior SEs, contribute to enablement content and battle-cards, and help us scale the SE function as we grow.
Your Experience
- 4+ years experience in solution engineering, presales, consulting (tech focused) or sales engineering for B2B enterprise SaaS, with a clear footprint in your target industry.
- Bring understanding of the value chain, operating model, regulatory pressures and digital landscape of your industry.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex enterprise deals end-to-end, including POCs and security reviews; comfortable with deal sizes north of €250K deal size.
- Strong technical fluency: REST APIs, SAP, identity management (SSO), cloud architecture, enterprise integration patterns, and basic data modeling.
- Sharp business acumen: comfortable mapping a regulatory or operational pain to ROI, TCO and a deployment roadmap a CFO will sign off on – in the KPIs of your industry.
- Outstanding communication in English; a third European language is a real plus.
- AI is part of how you already operate: you routinely use Ai to compress research, demo prep and RFP work, and you have a clear point of view on how to build the best AI-driven version of your role.
- Proactive, structured, calm under pressure – equally comfortable in front of a board and in a Postman session.
