Description
As Senior Solution Engineer with a country focus, you are osapiens’ technical face in enterprise deals in your geography. You sit shoulder-to-shoulder with our local Account Executives in front of Heads of Sustainability, Procurement leaders, Supply Chain Leaders and IT - translating intricate compliance and efficiency requirements into a clear vision of how the osapiens HUB will deliver value in the customer’s landscape, in their language and within their local regulatory reality. You are deliberately in-country: close to customers, on-site whenever it adds value, and fluent in how business gets done in your market. You own the full breadth of the osapiens HUB for your geography and carry local market intelligence back into Product and the wider SE organization.
Your Responsibilities
- Be the Solution Engineering owner of your country’s enterprise opportunities at osapiens. Accountable from tailoring deep dives until the prospect is convinced and has decided in favour of osapiens. You translate companies challenges with regards to supply chain resilience, reporting, carbon management, product compliance, asset operations, and track and trace into concrete solution scope, including local regulatory layers.
- Deliver tailored demonstrations of the osapiens HUB adapted to the buying culture, language and procurement norms of your country. Connect to Solution‑Suite SEs for deep specialist support.
- Own end‑to‑end proofs‑of‑concept in your region, anchored in your local market’s value drivers.
- Confidently navigate customer integrations with SAP and non‑SAP systems that matter in your vertical.
- Be the trusted owner of functional RFPs, RFIs, and IT‑Integration topics, including responses in the local language.
- Own the competitive picture in your country, and curate the local reference base that closes deals in your market.
- Represent osapiens at local industry events, customer roundtables and partner forums in your country.
- Default to being on‑site: customers, partners, local events. Expect ~40–50% travel within your geography.
- Actively use relationships with local SI partners, advisory firms and industry associations relevant to osapiens’ topics, and track local regulatory developments - briefing AEs and Product on what it means for pipeline and roadmap.
- Partner closely with Account Executives on deal strategy, multi‑threading and stakeholder mapping; coach AEs on value proposition talk‑tracks that land in your market.
- Feed structured prospect insights back to Product Management - what we win with locally, where competitors out‑position us, what we need on the roadmap to be competitive in your country.
- Mentor more junior SEs, contribute to enablement content, localized battle‑cards and demo assets, and help us scale the SE function as we grow.
Your Experience
We’re intentionally looking for people who have seen and thrived in fast‑moving environments:
- 4+ years experience in solution engineering, presales, consulting (tech focused) or sales engineering for B2B enterprise SaaS, with a clear majority of that time in your target country.
- Native or fully professional command of the primary business language(s) of your country, plus fluent English.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex enterprise deals end‑to‑end, including POCs and security reviews; comfortable with deal sizes north of €250K deal size.
- Working understanding of the regulatory landscape in your country across Carbon Management, Product Compliance (incl. PPWR), Supply Chain Compliance (incl. EUDR), Reporting and Disclosures - and how local buyers think about it.
- Strong technical fluency: REST APIs, SAP, identity management (SSO), cloud architecture (AWS or Azure), enterprise integration patterns, basic data modeling.
- Sharp business acumen: comfortable mapping a regulatory or operational pain to ROI, TCO and a deployment roadmap a CFO will sign off on - in the financial idiom of your market.
- An existing professional network among customers, partners and advisors in your country.
- AI is part of how you already operate: you routinely use Ai to compress research, demo prep and RFP work, and you have a clear point of view on how to build the best AI‑driven version of your role.
- Proactive, structured, calm under pressure - equally comfortable in front of a board and in a Postman session.
- Based in your target country, with willingness to travel ~40–50% within the region and occasionally to Mannheim or Munich HQ.
Bonus Points
- Domain expertise in Supplier Intelligence, Carbon Accounting, Reporting, Traceability and Product compliance.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, Coupa or ServiceNow.
- Existing relationships with local SI partners, Big Four advisory practices or industry associations in ESG and compliance.
- Exposure to AI / LLM workflows in enterprise SaaS.
- A third European language beyond your country’s primary language and English.
