Orthopaedic Specialists Group is a London-based multidisciplinary clinic known for delivering outstanding care across orthopaedics, rheumatology, pain management, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and regenerative medicine. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Practice Manager to join our management team. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing clinic operations, line-managing the administrative team, supporting consultants and ensuring excellent governance, compliance and patient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, support and develop the medical secretarial and administrative team
- Oversee recruitment, training, appraisals and performance management
- Manage clinic operations including scheduling, staffing, reporting and billing
- Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, clinical governance and internal policies
- Lead on audits, risk assessments, incident reviews and KPI monitoring
- Support strategic initiatives including quality improvement and digital transformation
- Deliver accurate reports and maintain high standards of documentation and patient correspondence
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of three years’ experience in healthcare operations or practice management
- Proven experience line-managing staff
- Strong knowledge of private healthcare processes and governance standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with clinical systems e.g. Carebit or DGL Practice Manager
