About the role

OryxAlign is hiring a mid-level IT Project Manager to deliver Professional Services projects across our customer base. You will run end-to-end delivery across network delivery, cloud migrations, infrastructure refreshes, and customer on-boarding and off-boarding. This is a delivery role in an MSP environment. You will drive actions, manage dependencies, control change, and keep stakeholders aligned. You will not line manage anyone, but you will coordinate internal engineering teams, customers, and third-party suppliers to deliver outcomes safely, on time, within scope, and to a high quality. Some projects take place in data centre or new build environments where site controls and CDM awareness are important. Your responsibility remains delivery of the IT scope, delivered compliantly and with the right site governance in place.

What you will be doing

  • Deliver IT projects end-to-end from initiation and planning through to handover and closure
  • Build and manage project plans, milestones, and delivery cadence across multiple concurrent projects
  • Maintain strong governance: RAID, actions, decisions, reporting, and clear escalation when required
  • Coordinate internal technical teams (cloud, network, engineering), suppliers, and customer stakeholders
  • Manage dependencies and constraints including supplier lead times, access windows, and customer decision points
  • Operate change control: identify out-of-scope work, quantify impact, and support variations
  • Maintain commercial discipline through forecasting, accurate admin, and time recording
  • Define acceptance criteria and coordinate testing, go-live readiness, and cutover planning where relevant
  • Ensure clean handover into Managed Services (or agreed operational ownership), including documentation and operational readiness
  • Plan and coordinate delivery so work is completed in line with OryxAlign H S requirements and the customer's site rules
  • Confirm site requirements before attendance (for example inductions, PPE, access controls, permits to work, working-hour restrictions, escorts, delivery routes)
  • Ensure appropriate RAMS and permits are in place for site activities where required (produced by the party carrying out the work), and confirm reviews/approvals are completed before work starts
  • Keep evidence of site compliance in the project pack (for example induction confirmation, RAMS approval confirmation, permit references)
  • Escalate immediately if conditions are unsafe or compliance evidence is missing, and pause delivery where required

What we are looking for (must have)

  • Experience delivering IT projects in an MSP, consultancy, or other multi-client delivery environment
  • Solid end-to-end delivery skills: planning, governance, RAID, change control, reporting, and stakeholder management
  • Experience coordinating technical teams and third parties in a matrix environment
  • Confidence running client meetings and workshops, driving actions and decisions
  • Comfort managing multiple projects at once with competing priorities
  • Clear written communication and strong documentation habits
  • Commercial awareness, including scope boundaries and variation control

Desirable experience

  • Delivery experience in data centre or construction/new build environments with site controls
  • Working awareness of CDM considerations and permit-controlled environment
  • Familiarity with projects that interface with CCTV, access control, or BMS suppliers (as dependencies)
  • Understanding of clean handover expectations into Managed Services (operational readiness, knowledge transfer)
