Working across residential conveyancing, commercial property and secured lending, you will support a talented group of fee earners with the day-to-day coordination that keeps matters progressing smoothly. From client communication and document preparation to post-completion work and Land Registry submissions, you will be central to ensuring every transaction is handled efficiently, accurately and professionally.
What You Will Be Doing- Provide full secretarial and administrative support to a busy property team working across residential conveyancing, commercial property and property finance matters.
- Prepare, format and amend legal documents, contracts, completion statements and correspondence with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage Land Registry applications, SDLT submissions and post-completion formalities using systems such as Infotrack, ensuring all deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
- Open, organise and maintain client files, keeping records, documents and case management systems fully up to date throughout each transaction.
- Liaise confidently with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents and other third parties, helping to keep transactions moving and queries resolved promptly.
- Order searches, manage incoming documentation, monitor progress on live matters and proactively support fee earners with the smooth running of their caseloads.
- Help create a professional, efficient and reassuring experience for clients by ensuring communication is clear, timely and well organised from instruction to completion.
You will have previous experience as a property or legal secretary, a confident knowledge of Land Registry processes and hands-on post completion experience. LEAP experience is a big plus. Above all, you are organised, accurate, and the kind of person who takes real pride in their work.
