Join Orwins as an Associate in our residential property team and be part of a close-knit, collegiate group of lawyers who genuinely enjoy what they do and the people they do it with. We do law differently – collaborative, supportive and focused on doing great work for clients. This is an opportunity for a property solicitor who is keen to learn, grow and build their practice alongside an experienced senior partner in a team that invests in its people. If you are ready to be challenged, supported and developed – and you want to be somewhere that actually cares about your career – you will feel at home here.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, supported by a senior partner and a strong team around you.
  • Handling the full range of freehold and leasehold transactions — sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity — with accuracy and care.
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with clients, estate agents and lenders, and delivering the kind of service that generates referrals and repeat business.
  • Working closely with your supervising partner, developing your skills and taking on increasing responsibility as you grow in confidence and experience.
  • Contributing positively to a team culture that is warm, collaborative and high-performing.

What We Are Looking For

  • 2–7 years PQE in residential property.
  • You are technically solid, eager to learn and great with clients.
  • You want to be somewhere that supports your development with genuine commitment, not just words.
  • LEAP experience is a plus.

What You Will Get

At Orwins, we invest in our people just as much as our future. Our future is our people. This is a firm where your voice is heard, your contribution is recognised, and your development is taken seriously - not just talked about. You will get genuine access to our C‑Suite, senior partners, leaders and clients from day one, working closely with a team that values expertise, supports each other and takes pride in doing things well. We are growing fast, and the people who join us will grow with us too.

In addition:

  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and your birthday off — increasing with service
  • Private Medical Insurance through Vitality
  • Cash plan through Medicash
  • EAP scheme (open to family members)
  • Enhanced wellbeing and family-friendly policies
  • Salary sacrifice pension through NEST
  • Hybrid working – we trust you to know where you do your best work
  • Free fruit, drinks and regular freebie lunches
  • CSR events and summer and winter colleague celebrations
  • A people-focused, collaborative culture that makes coming to work genuinely worth it
