Working Pattern
This role is based on a 3-week rolling rota, working an average of 4 days per week. Contracted hours will be made up of:
2 x 7-hour shifts
2 x 12-hour shifts

At Beaumont House , our Extra Care service supports older people to live independently with dignity, choice and confidence. We're looking for a passionate Shift Leader to inspire and support our care team while helping us deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
What You'll Do
Working alongside the Team Leaders and Service Manager, you will:
- Lead, motivate and support the care team during shifts.
- Assist with rota planning and day-to-day service operations.
- Champion high-quality, person-centred care and best practice.
- Build positive relationships with customers, families and healthcare professionals.
- Complete medication audits, competency assessments and care observations.
- Support safe medication ordering, collection and administration.
- Help create a warm, welcoming and homely environment for customers.
About You
You'll have:
- Experience supporting older and vulnerable adults in a care setting.
- Knowledge of end-of-life care and person-centred support.
- Understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards.
- Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting people and developing others.
