Mobile Craftsperson Painter - Norfolk

3 months Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £15.27 per hour; Hours: 40 hours per week

We're looking for a skilled Craftsperson Painter to deliver high quality cyclical decorating across our properties - someone who cares about good workmanship, great service and doing the job right. If you're experienced, reliable and enjoy working in a role where no two days are the same, this could be the perfect fit.

What you'll be doing

  • Completing internal and external painting and decorating to a high standard
  • Carrying out minor pre painting repairs
  • Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
  • Reporting repairs, defects or safety concerns promptly
  • Sourcing materials efficiently and cost effectively
  • Working closely with colleagues to improve the service
  • Liaising with residents to support a positive customer experience
  • Following Health Safety, COSHH and lone working procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records on our systems

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years' painting experience
  • Experience working in customer facing environments
  • General carpentry skills
  • Strong understanding of Health Safety, COSHH and risk assessments
  • A proactive, self motivated approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management and flexibility
  • Confident communication skills
  • Full driving licence (essential)
  • NVQ Level 2 in Painting Decorating (desirable)
