As part of the apprenticeship programme, you will be required to attend college in Bury St Edmunds one day per week. Please note that travel costs to and from college are the responsibility of the apprentice and are not covered by Orwell.

Orwell is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Property Services Maintenance Apprentice to join our Repairs Service team. Working alongside experienced Multi-Skilled Craftsperson, you'll gain hands-on experience while studying towards a recognised qualification in Property Maintenance Operative Level 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is practical, eager to learn, customer-focused and keen to make a difference in local communities. No previous experience is required - just a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to developing your skills.

Essential Requirements:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- A genuine interest in property maintenance
- Commitment to completing vocational training and achieving a recognised qualification
Please note that if you already hold a Level 3 or higher qualification in carpentry or plumbing, you won't be eligible for this apprenticeship.
Desirable:
- Some experience using hand or power tools
- Awareness of Health & Safety and safe working practices
