Looking for a hands-on role with variety and opportunity? We're seeking a hardworking and safety-conscious Labourer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support operatives with groundwork, fencing, general labouring duties, and the completion of repair and maintenance work.
- Work independently and proactively to minimise repeat visits by ensuring repairs are completed correctly the first time wherever possible.
- Assist with coordinating and arranging the delivery of materials and products required to complete works efficiently.
- Undertake additional duties across the Delivery Team, including void property works and planned maintenance projects, as required.
- Maintain lock-ups and storage yards on a weekly basis, following instructions and schedules provided.
- Participate in Orwell's on‑call rota, responding to emergency repair requests outside of normal working hours as required.
About You...
We are looking for someone with:
- 4 GCSEs A-C or equivalent including English and Maths.
- Experience of working with hand, power and machine tools, plant and equipment is desirable.
- Property maintenance experience is desirable.
- Experience of hard landscaping is desirable.
