The Role
As an Orwell Care Team Leader, you will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, working closely with the Registered Manager to support the day-to-day running of our Extra Care service. You will lead, guide, and inspire the team to ensure we deliver the highest standard of support to our customers. In this role, you will also:
- Meet new customers, assess their care and support needs, and work collaboratively with other agencies.
- Act as a positive leader within the service, empowering team members in all aspects of their work.
- Support the recruitment and induction of new care team members.
- Carry out regular reviews with customers and professionals, developing care plans and coordinating care packages.
- Deliver workshops and awareness sessions on various aspects of care, alongside completing competency checks.
- Provide one-to-one support to team members, including supervision, appraisals, and reflective practice.

- Level 3 in Health and Social care or above.
