Civils / Groundworks / Drainage Team Leaders Ipswich Area, Suffolk £45,000 to £50,000 plus overtime and package OR783 Our client is a well established drainage contractor working for regional water authorities maintain, repairing and installing drainage and water pipework. They are actively searching for working team leaders to join their Suffolk based depot on the outskirts of Ipswich. The work heavily focus’s on excavation, Drainage Construction and Main Laying. Previous experience is essential plus a current drivers as a van is provided. The role requires you to be on call 1 week in 4 where you are paid extra regardless if you are called out or not. Overtime is available at a rate of time and a half. ROLE: * Take direct responsibility for the Operatives and ensuring safety of any visitors to the site * Undertaking daily site-specific risk assessments * Responsible for delivering the on-site projects to a safe, compliant and high standard * All aspects of deep drainage * Manhole construction * Concreting, Block laying, Kerb laying * Working in confined spaces * Hand digging, excavation work, heavy lifting * Will be working outside majority of the time * Must have experience of installing deep drainage * Previous experience within the utilities, groundworks or water sector is desired CANDIDATE: * Current driving licence with no more than 6 points * CSCS Card and First Aid * Cat & Genny desired * 360 Excavator licence desired Please call Ian Farr on (phone number removed) for more information on this role
