This role is pivotal in shaping a high-performance, people-centric culture that supports business growth, enhances employee experience, and strengthens leadership capability. Reporting into the International People & Culture Director, you will partner closely with Retail leaders while also contributing to the broader corporate People agenda. You will play a key role in developing our London-based P&C Advisor and ensuring alignment between Retail and Corporate functions. Travel to retail stores and field based teams will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Retail Leadership & International Scope: Lead P&C support for Retail teams, understanding the nuances of fast-paced, customer-facing environments. Partner with key UK and International stakeholders to ensure consistent people practices, understanding and, where required, adaption to local market needs. Work closely with the employers of record in the international markets to ensure compliance and consistency of One Orveon across markets. Support organisational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives across stakeholder groups and regions.
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to Retail leadership teams across the UK and international markets. Support the International P&C Director to drive the People strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on performance, engagement, and capability. Provide insight-led guidance using people data and trends to influence decision-making.
  • Talent Development & Capability Building: Coach and develop senior leaders to build inclusive, high-performing teams. Work closely with the Centres of Excellence to deliver talent and succession planning for key Retail roles. Oversee and support the development of the London-based P&C Advisor, providing mentoring, coaching, and growth opportunities.
  • Employee Experience & Engagement: Champion initiatives that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention. Foster a culture aligned with company values and development of a performance drive culture. Lead on complex employee relations matters with a balanced, pragmatic approach.
  • Global and Corporate Collaboration: Partner with Global and Corporate functions to ensure alignment of people practices across the organisation. Contribute to global P&C projects and initiatives, ensuring Retail perspectives are represented. Support cross-functional talent initiatives and leadership development programs.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure effective delivery of core P&C processes (performance management, compensation, talent reviews). Drive continuous improvement and scalability of people practices across markets. Maintain compliance with UK employment law and support international regulatory considerations.
