With digital being a key channel for all three brands, it is crucial we have excellent brand presence and communications across the multiple digital touchpoints and points of sale our consumers will experience and engage with. The E-Retail Coordinator will play a critical role in driving this strong digital presence and ensuring consumers have the best digital experience across various touchpoints and channels.
The E-Retail Coordinator will be part of the Marketing Team, reporting into the Brand Manager on Laura Mercier and work closely with the Marketing Team to ensure the E-Retail presence is consistent with the wider brand strategy and communications. The E-Retail Coordinator’s role will be focused on ensuring the best-in-class brand presence across different channels our retailers operate in, by optimizing and updating permanent and temporary brand content to maximize customer engagement and conversion on site. This includes effective site merchandising across UK&I and Europe Direct Markets B&C Retailers, Pureplayers and Shows Channel for core and NPD updates, working with the global creative and marketing teams on new assets being supplied as well as digitally amending assets to fit local markets retailer needs and requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Work with the marketing team to plan E-Retail updates in accordance with market innovation and marketing calendars as well as retailer launch timings and guidelines to ensure the E-Retail Calendar is up to date and there is timely execution of assets for NPDs and core brand focuses.
- Work closely with the global creative and marketing teams to understand latest timings and plans for new creative/asset releases which impact local market timings and launches.
- Ownership of on-site assets organization and downloading from DAM to save in company folders such as BOX. Maintain weekly website refreshes and seasonal campaign updates, ensuring designs are optimized for desktop and mobile.
- Execute the successful permanent merchandising updates of the current retailer channels sites in your remit which includes auditing retailer sites, liaising with retailer contacts for guidelines and use of retailer portals where needed to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of content updates.
- Ensure all new products go live as planned on time, working with the Marketing Team to ensure the correct assets are used in line with brand guidelines and are submitted within retailer timings. This includes retailer assets re-sizing, re-naming, supporting with NLF input needed from a content perspective and reviewing content once launched.
- Ensure all PDPs are optimized with assets and copy based on industry best practice including ensuring all keywords are optimized to maximize organic search results, which may include the use of AI tools to help inform recommended copy.
- Ensure retailer brand rooms content are optimized where possible ensuring on-site content, assets and product catalogue/navigation are updated when needed, in a timely way, ensuring retailer best in class practices are utilized and updates are in line with brand guidelines and work to give the best user experience.
- Support with temporary E-Retail content updates for retailer channel sites in your remit. This includes supporting with asset requests from the Marketing Team for temporary placements on-site as well as additional opportunities on-site which require assets such as bundles.
- Support with new retailer set up for E-Retail Content including working to a CPA in accordance with retailer set-up timings, ensuring retailer specific guidelines for assets are used and asset readiness for launch implementation to ensure smooth and timely execution of assets on-site for launch.
- Support with content required for Live Show Assets such as QVC, working with the Education, Brand and Sales Team to ensure preferred and optimized assets are used for on Air including any retailer feedback to maximize customer engagement and conversion during show periods.
- Execute quarterly reviews for competitor activity (2-3 brand examples) on E-Retail activity and present back to the wider Marketing team for insight and opportunities to improve local market content.
- Work with the Marketing Team to create and provide insight on E-Retail site merchandising and product strategies in line with brand strategies which help improve consumer experience and conversion at different digital points of sale.
- Support, if needed, the CRM and Merchandising Coordinator for DTC with the briefing of local assets required from global marketing for on-site assets placements and visuals based on E-Retail content planned across other channels.
- Implement and complete ad hoc projects as requested by the business.
Profile, Skills, and Experience Required
- Educated to degree level
- Graphic Design skills with ability to amend and create assets to specific specifications using software such as Photoshop
- Experience of working with different CMS (content management systems)
- Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized
- Ability to coordinate multiple assets and campaigns at the same time
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders to achieve cohesion and key deadlines
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
