The Logistics Manager – UK & EMEA is responsible for the strategic and day‑to‑day management of third‑party logistics (3PL) operations, inbound and outbound fulfilment, transport, inventory accuracy, and key account order management for bareMinerals, LauraMercier and BUXOM across the UK and EMEA region.

3PL Warehouse Management

  • Manage operational relationships with the two 3PL warehouse partners in the UK and France, and the external kitting company, serving as the primary point of contact for all warehouse activity.
  • Ensure all service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met, with regular performance reviews and corrective action plans where required.
  • Lead and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives in close collaboration with 3PL partners, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Monitor warehouse cost performance against budget, ongoing oversight of cost‑per‑unit (CPU) metrics, and proactively identify saving opportunities.
  • Lead the 3PL tendering process, including RFP preparation, supplier evaluation, and transition management in advance of contract renewal cycles.
  • Oversee both inbound (purchase orders, stock receipts) and outbound (B2B wholesale, D2C e‑commerce) operations, ensuring smooth and compliant execution across all channels.
  • Own escalation and problem‑solving for all warehouse‑related issues, ensuring swift resolution with minimal impact on fulfilment timelines.

Order Management & Key Accounts

  • Work in close collaboration with the Customer Operations team to support end‑to‑end order processing for UK and EMEA retail accounts, ensuring orders are accurately placed, committed, and released within agreed windows.
  • Ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and delivered on time and in full, in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Oversee warehouse compliance with account‑specific vendor requirements and routing guides, ensuring retailer packing, labelling, and documentation standards are met without exception.
  • Manage account‑specific fulfilment processes for Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA) and QVC, including shipment preparation, EDI requirements, and retailer portal management.

Systems & Inventory Management

  • Maintain inventory accuracy between the ERP and WMS, conducting regular reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Manage batch management, freshness dating, and the identification and resolution of excess and obsolete (EO) inventory in collaboration with planning and finance teams.
  • Troubleshoot EDI flow queries with internal IT teams and logistics partners, ensuring uninterrupted order transmission and minimising fulfilment failures.
  • Maintain accurate master data across ERP and WMS, including purchase orders, inventory adjustments, and SKU‑level data alignment.

Transport & Carrier Management

  • Manage transport operations across the UK and Europe, including road freight, carrier selection, and rate management, ensuring cost‑effective and reliable delivery performance.
  • Provide full, real‑time visibility of inbound and outbound stock movements and tracking across all routes, maintaining accurate status reporting for internal stakeholders.
  • Manage carrier relationships and performance, holding regular reviews and driving service improvements where required.

Key Stakeholders & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Customer Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, and Commercial teams to ensure logistics execution is fully aligned with business priorities.
  • Support the Customer Operations Manager with escalations, recaps, and priority account management.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted working relationships with external logistics providers, retail partners, and transport carriers across the EMEA network.
  • Contribute to cross‑functional projects including new product launches, network reviews, and system implementations as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a logistics, supply‑chain, or operations‑management role within FMCG, beauty, or consumer goods.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships, including SLA/KPI oversight, performance management, and escalation handling.
  • Experience managing outbound fulfilment for major UK retailers and/or e‑commerce partners, with a strong understanding of vendor compliance requirements.
  • Solid working knowledge of ERP systems for purchase order management, inventory control, and stock commitment and release.
  • Experience managing EDI processes and troubleshooting transmission issues with logistics partners and internal IT teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build and maintain detailed shipment trackers, cost models, and reporting workbooks.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy in documentation, data management, and compliance.
  • Clear, confident, and professional communicator with the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
  • Desirable: Experience in logistics network design, including 3PL tender management and network optimisation projects.
  • Desirable: French language skills – advantageous for managing the Paris‑based warehouse relationship and liaising with continental European partners.
  • Desirable: Experience leveraging AI platforms and automation tools to improve logistics processes and operational efficiency.
  • Desirable: Background working within a private‑equity‑backed consumer goods business, with an understanding of the commercial and operational pace that environment demands.
