About the Role
We are seeking a strategic PR & Influencer Manager to join our team.
In this pivotal role, you'll shape our public relations & influencer strategy and build meaningful relationships with our PR agency, key influencers, media outlets, and industry stakeholders.
You'll be responsible for elevating our brand presence, driving awareness campaigns, having a social first lens on our campaigns, and creating authentic campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Public Relations & Media Management
- Develop and execute in collaboration with PR agency comprehensive PR & Influencer strategies aligned with overall brand objectives.
- In collaboration with PR agency, manage relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets to secure coverage in top-tier beauty, lifestyle, and mainstream publications
- With global guidance, create and distribute compelling press releases, media kits, and communications materials
- In collaboration with PR agency pitch brand stories and product launches to relevant media channels
- In collaboration with PR agency Monitor media coverage and maintain detailed coverage reports and media analytics
- Ensure a tailored, consistent award win strategy across all brands.
- Influencer Relations & Partnerships
- Lead a social first marketing strategy within the PR & Influencer division, ensuring that our brands remain at the forefront of social conversation while staying true to brand heritage.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with micro, mid-tier, and macro influencers across relevant platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, etc.)
- Negotiate collaboration terms, manage contracts, and oversee deliverables
- Develop influencer briefing strategies and provide creative direction while maintaining brand authenticity
- Ensure influencer invoices are paid on time & within budget
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key influencers and brand ambassadors
- Track campaign performance, engagement metrics, and ROI for all influencer partnerships
- Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Conceptualize and execute integrated PR and influencer campaigns for product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, commercial & finance teams ) to ensure seamless campaign alignment
- Manage campaign timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Crisis Management
- Develop and maintain crisis communication protocols, where required
- Respond promptly to media inquiries and manage brand reputation challenges
- Act as a key liaison during sensitive situations
- Analytics & Reporting
- in collaboration with PR agency, monitor and report on PR and influencer campaign performance using relevant KPIs
- Present to the UK team a quarterly overview of upcoming campaigns & associated KPI’s
- Prepare monthly reports for wider UK team with insights and recommendations
- Report within a timely manner, using data to optimize future campaigns and influencer selections
- Key Stakeholders
- Ensure collaborative & clear communication with internal stakeholders, ensuring to understand how the PR & Influencer strategy plays a key part within the wider business/
- Collaborate with Global functions to ensure consistency (where relevant) in brand activities.
- Foster collaborative partnerships with external stakeholders including retail partners, distributors, and brand collaborators to maximize reach and impact.
- provide strategic campaign briefings and updates in collaboration with wider team, to senior leadership on campaign performance, media landscape trends, and emerging opportunities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in PR, communications, or influencer marketing (preferably in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries)
- Proven track record of securing media coverage in notable publications
- Demonstrated experience building and managing influencer partnerships across multiple platforms
- Strong understanding of social media landscape, trends, and algorithm changes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional relationship-building and networking abilities
- Project management skills with ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Experience with PR software and analytics tools (Cision, Muck Rack, Sprout Social, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, PR, or related field (or equivalent experience)
