About The Role
As Marketing Director, you will take ownership of strategic and operational marketing for the UK & Europe Direct Markets. By adapting to the global brand vision, you will be responsible for driving brand awareness and market growth through dataâdriven insights, consumer trends, and competitive analysis. With a focus on digital, you will lead across all consumerâfacing channels and work closely with the General Manager. As the leader of the Marketing team, you will build strong relationships with local, international, and global colleagues to deliver business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a comprehensive UK & Europe Direct marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, traditional, and experiential channels.
- Shape NPD launch activations and lead strategic planning and phasing with P&L responsibility for marketing budgets.
- Optimize data and performance tracking â KPIs, ROI, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence.
- Collaborate with local commercial teams to drive sellâout and contribute to overall business growth.
- Drive digital excellence across retail channels, including visual merchandising and pointâofâsale activities.
- Build and execute UK & Europe Direct communications strategy to build brand awareness and consumer engagement.
- Oversee retailer marketing plans and cultivate key retail partner relationships.
- Set campaign objectives and KPIs, reviewing postâcampaign results to evolve strategy.
- Shape category objectives and strategies; develop growth plans for hero categories & SKUs.
- Lead NPD forecasting in partnership with demand planning and commercial teams.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a dedicated marketing, communications, and visual merchandising team.
- Support Orveon culture and business values through crossâfunctional collaboration.
Profile, Skills & Experience Required
- 7â10 years of marketing experience with demonstrated leadership roles in beauty or FMCG sectors.
- Strong crossâfunctional influence and stakeholder management.
- Strategic thinker with clear communication and vision.
- Experience in highâgrowth or startup environments and navigating ambiguity.
- Proven track record in leading retail excellence with a modern omniâchannel approach.
- Expertise in UK & Europe Direct beauty market, digital, social, openâsell, retailer.com, and department store retail environments.
- Strong integrated marketing campaign management with clear KPIs and postâcampaign analysis.
- Media planning and strategy expertise, maximizing brand visibility and engagement.
- Proven team leadership, coaching, and mentorship of highâperformance teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Agile, resourceful, and passionate about highâvalue opportunities.
