We are working with a boutique wealth management firm based in the City of London to recruit an experienced Financial Adviser or Wealth Manager on a permanent, hybrid basis.
This is a rare opening at a firm that combines the personalised service of a boutique with the full infrastructure of a larger organisation — in-house discretionary investment management, dedicated paraplanners, compliance professionals, marketing support, and warm inbound leads. The role suits an experienced adviser looking for a long-term platform to build and grow a scalable client book — whether you bring an existing portfolio to port or want to grow through the firm's lead generation and referral network.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Base salary up to £130,000 depending on experience
- 50% bonus on new AUM introduced — example: onboard £10m AUM and earn approximately £36,550 bonus
- 10% discretionary annual bonus
- Share option scheme — equity participation for long-term wealth creation
- Hybrid working — 2 days per week in a modern City of London office
- Warm inbound leads and digital marketing support provided
- Top-quartile investment portfolios managed by an in-house investment team
- Full paraplanning and compliance support
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Advising HNW clients across a broad range of financial matters including investments, pensions, tax planning, and estate planning
- Building strong, trust-based client relationships and conducting regular portfolio and financial plan reviews
- Developing new business through referrals, professional networking, and strategic partnerships
- Collaborating with paraplanners, investment analysts, and the compliance team
- Operating in a consultative, client-first manner — no hard sales or product-pushing culture
Required:
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent) — essential
- Solid experience delivering holistic financial advice to HNW clients with complex needs
- Proven ability to build and retain client relationships and grow AUM
- Confident in new client acquisition through referrals and professional networks
- Entrepreneurial mindset balanced with appreciation for structure and support
