A highly respected financial planning organisation is seeking an experienced Advice Technical Trainer to strengthen the capability and confidence of its advisory teams. The Opportunity
The Advice Technical Trainer plays a pivotal role in enhancing the technical capability of the advisory community. You'll deliver engaging training, practical coaching and structured development programmes that build knowledge, confidence and strong professional standards. Working closely with advisers, paraplanners and internal specialists, you'll help ensure colleagues have the skills, understanding and regulatory awareness required to provide high-quality financial advice. This is an ideal role for someone who loves developing people, sharing expertise and raising professional standards across a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training sessions across core financial planning areas: pensions, investments, tax planning, protection and estate planning
- Support structured induction programmes for trainee advisers, qualified advisers and paraplanners
- Facilitate workshops, webinars and CPD learning sessions
- Design high-quality training materials including presentations, case studies and e-learning content
- Keep all training content aligned with the latest regulation, legislative changes and industry best practice
- Provide coaching, mentoring and constructive feedback to support individual development
- Work alongside compliance, technical and risk teams to identify learning priorities
- Deliver targeted training following audits, regulatory updates or identified knowledge gaps
- Contribute to a culture focused on strong technical standards and excellent client outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Strong technical knowledge across key financial planning disciplines
- Level 4 Diploma qualified
- Experience delivering training, coaching or mentoring within financial services
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and confidently
