Responsibilities
- Provide clear, ethical, fee-based financial planning advice across investments, pensions, tax mitigation, protection, and cashflow modelling.
- Shape and lead the delivery of the UK wealth management business in line with the firm’s values and client service standards.
- Ensure all advice and processes comply with FCA regulations, Consumer Duty, AML, and other relevant legislation.
- Build long-term relationships with high-net-worth and mass-affluent clients.
- Play a hands-on role at the outset, with scope to build and lead a team as the business develops.
About You
- Minimum Level 4 qualified; ideally a Chartered Financial Planner or Certified Financial Planner.
- Holds a current or recent Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).
- Demonstrated success delivering fee-based financial advice in a professional environment.
- Experience promoting investment management solutions (not managing investments directly).
- Strong technical knowledge across UK financial products: investments, pensions, protection, and tax strategies.
- Excellent communicator with a client-first approach and high ethical standards.
- Commercially aware, with the drive to help grow a business and progress to directorship.
