We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning Administrator for a long-established, Chartered Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) practice in Derby — £35,000 FTE plus benefits, with genuine progression to a senior or management role as the team grows.
Our client is listed in the Citywire New Model Adviser Top 100 and holds Chartered Financial Planner status, reflecting a genuine commitment to high-quality, client-focused financial planning. This is a hands-on role taking ownership of complex cases from instruction through to completion, working closely with the firm's IFAs, Paraplanner and wider administration team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex financial planning administration from instruction to completion
- Process new business applications across pensions, investments and life assurance
- Liaise confidently with providers, platforms, clients and advisers to resolve queries
- Maintain accurate records and workflows on Intelliflo
- Coordinate annual client reviews from preparation through to completion
- Provide paraplanning and commission reconciliation cover when required
About You:
- Experience within an IFA, wealth management or financial planning environment
- Confident handling complex financial planning and new business cases
- Good working knowledge of pensions, investments, life assurance and Intelliflo (or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
- Proactive, with the judgement and confidence to take ownership of complex work
Salary & Benefits:
- £35,000 FTE, pension scheme, Death in Service (3x salary)
- 33 days' holiday FTE (inc. bank holidays)
- Flexible hours between 7.30am–5.00pm (start at 7:30 and finish at 3:30) and hybrid working after probation.
